Margaret Thatcher -- BBC4 Film

A study of British Literature since 1945, with focus on women's power and success, must of course bring the regnancy of Her Current Majesty into consideration. But so too must the the long Premiership (1979–1990) of Margaret, Baroness Thatcher have had enormous effect.

BBC4 is broadcasting a film, next week, on the young Margaret Thatcher's ten-year struggle to become an MP. Writer Tony Saint's screenplay:
